Ted English was born on Chritmas day in Alabama in 1938.  Ted has never won the Iditarod.  He moved many times, he moved to Flordia when he was young, and when he got older he moved to Arizona, and in 1974 he finally moved to Alaska.  While in Arizona his wife and he taught obediance trials.  He started to collect sled dogs and his goal was to enter the iditarod in 1981, and he did but he had to scratch early in the race.  Ted lives in Willow, Alaska with his wife and 17 year old step daughter, Rachael.  Ted also had four grown childern, 12 grandchildern, and 6 great grandchildern.
