PARENT COMMUNICATION

On Fridays, your son/daughter will be bringing home a packet. This packet will contain all graded and important papers from the previous week. The slip will also tell you whether your child owes me any work. Please check with your child each Friday for the green slip and packet. There is a place for you to sign the slip. Your signature tells me that you have seen the papers, and have seen to it that your child has completed any work owed. Please return the entire packet and any work owed to school with your child the following Monday.

Any homework papers turned in with no name will be put in the recycle bin. Five points will be deducted from graded papers that do not contain a name.

Homework is not graded for content, but for completion. Assignments done at home are given full credit in my book if they are turned in on time with the directions followed. The student will receive half credit in my book if the assignment is turned in late, not complete, or the directions are not followed. The student will receive no credit if the assignment is never turned in. At the end of the marking period, I give a test grade based on the number of assignments given.
