"Combining a County" through web-based multi-disciplinary technology projects is the goal of the annual county-wide technology project. Technology Coordinators from twenty-three K-12 public school and six non-public school districts in Warren County, NJ are invited to meet to decide what the project will be each year and disseminate that information to over 1,200 certificated staff members and more than 12,000 students.

Through monthly meetings held at our local ETTC for Technology Coordinators, we have been able to focus on specific agendas for each project. Information is disseminated by the Technology Coordinators back to their respective top level administrators and local Boards of Education on a regular basis indicating progress on the current project and their district's level of participation.

Throughout each project we create forums to assist educators in developing partnerships with their peers located in other districts within the county. An example is the "Kick-off" meeting and mid-project "Work Session". Through grant resources we have been able to offer substitute teacher coverage for participating teachers. This has enabled the Technology Coordinators and local teachers to meet to "team-up". Additionally, at these meetings FREE meaningful, associated professional development opportunities are offered to create a pathway for including technology in the classroom.

Our projects have anchored technology with multi-disciplinary core curriculum content standards for participants teaching grades K-12. In addition, we create forums to assist educators in developing partnerships with their peers located in other districts within the county. These collaborative efforts take advantage of new technologies while incorporating different teaching and learning strategies.
