Project Listserv
What is a listserv?
Listservs are virtual "bulletin boards" where you can post questions and comments and respond to items posted by others, using nothing more than standard E-mail. A listserv mailing list basically allows you to send one message to a central address and have that message distributed to all other subscribers. The subscribers share a common interest, and in your case the Migratory Birds Project. If someone responds to your message, that response is, in turn, distributed to all subscribers. The result is a running conversation to which you can contribute or simply read as it progresses.
How To Join The Listserv:
- Create an e-mail message to: listserv@warrennet.org
- Leave the "subject" line of that message blank.
- For the first line of the message body type:
SUBSCRIBE WCKIDS YOUR NAME
- Send the message.

Here are links to 360° Virtual Tours created through this project:
360° For First-Timers
A Web page is a great way to share our most interesting, memorable life experiences. On the Web, we describe these experiences using mainly text and static images. We would try to recall every detail and include them in text, then scan and add in photographs or images to further describe the experience. The result? Static, boring Web pages.
Why 360° interactive scenes?
Have you ever experienced the difference between a static virtual field and a 360° interactive field trip?
Web pages that include 360° are cool interactive web pages with a unique way of sharing an experience with your visitors. Web pages with 360° images allow your visitors to see a surround view of a place or object, as if they are physically there. Using the mouse, they can navigate the scene (an image), zoom in and out, or pan left and right. Some 360°s even include "Hotspots" which let your visitors explore "deeper" into the picture.
