5. Divides with a 2-digit divisor.
6. Understands addition and subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators.
7. Adds and subtracts decimals through thousandths.
8. Multiplies a decimal by a decimal.
9. Uses the computer to solve grade appropriate activities.
AT THE END OF SIXTH GRADE---YOU SHOULD KNOW:
1. Understands whole numbers and decimals.
2. Solves word problems accurately.
3. Knows multiplication and division facts 2-9 very well.
4. Multiplies 3-digit number by a 3-digit number.
5. Divides by a two or three digit divisor.
6. Divides whole numbers by a decimal and a decimal by a decimal.
7. Adds, subtracts, and multiplies mixed numbers.
8. Divides a fraction by a mixed number.
9. Understands graphs, percent, and ratio.
10. Uses the computer to solve grade appropriate activities.
1. Adding and subtracting with re-naming.
2. Multiplication facts 2-5 very well.
3. Multiplication facts 6-9 pretty well.
4. Dividing facts 2-5 very well.
5. Dividing once with a remainder.
6. Fractions as part of a set.
7. Telling time, calendars, counting money.
8. Adding and subtracting money.
