Dear Parent / Guardian:

Allow us to tell you about a wonderful opportunity that is available to you this summer which will assist your son/daughter in moving forward to a successful year to come at Warren Tech.

We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to jump start their academic success for the coming year by attending Warren Tech’s Summer T.E.C. Camp (Technology Enrichment Camp).  Remediation is being offered in the following areas:

• Writing Skills
• Mathematics Skills
• Organizational / Study Skills
• Applied Technology in the Classroom
• Reading Skills
• Vocational Skills for the Arts
• Vocational Skills for the Trades
• HSPA Math Skills
• HSPA English Skills

This program will help students prepare for…

• Standardized Tests that loom on the horizon in high school. 
• Assist with social skills as students meet people from all of Warren County as opposed to having been with a core group of friends in their sending districts. 
• Finally, your child will become better acquainted with our campus. 

In addition, ancillary services such as social skills, learning strategies, and counseling will be made available. 

The details of the program are as follows: This opportunity bears no cost to you other than transportation to and from school.

• The program operates from eight thirty a.m. until twelve thirty p.m., Monday through Friday, for 4 consecutive weeks, from July 6th through 31st.
• A snack will be provided, however, you may wish for your son / daughter to bring along a bag lunch as well. 
• This opportunity bears no cost to you other than transportation to and from school.

In order to enroll in this program, please return the attached form completed below to Warren Tech by no later than June 19th.

A confirmation letter describing further details, your child’s schedule, instructors, as well as specific drop-off and pick-up times will be sent to you via mail, prior to Camp TEC’s start.

Please select 5 classes from the attached list of 9 course descriptions that you believe will most benefit your child and list them on the attached form.  The duration of each course is forty-four minutes.

This form is also online for your convenience to print out and mail back to the school.
