STUDENT TECHNOLOGY GUIDELINES:
One of the primary goals of the WCTS district is to prepare members of our school community to become technologically literate. As we have progressed from an industrial society to an information society, the projected impact of technology on our lives makes the development of technology literate students an increasingly necessary goal of education. The students of WCTS will be continually educated in the effective use of technology in the form of telecommunication networks, microcomputers, wireless handheld devices, and audio/video equipment. These means of technology are becoming an increasingly important resource for instruction as well as an integral part of the world of work and home. All students are expected to be active participants if they are to be successful at WCTS. This page will help you to better understand the Guidelines for Student Use of Desktops, Laptops, Wireless and Handheld Devices.
