GOALS

The goal of this program is to prepare students to successfully complete technological tasks required in both academic and career major curriculums. Experience with the technological applications in this course will provide a solid foundation from which students can then expand their learning experiences in both educational and personal settings. Overall, a greater level of achievement and confidence in all realms of a student's high school experience is ultimately what Warren County Technical School wishes to achieve via this course.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Students will be required to complete all class and homework assignments, class and home activities, cooperative learning projects, Internet tasks, practice and content tests, and quizzes. Class participation will be used as a means to verbalize the course content and is encouraged. Students are additionally responsible for the care and maintenance of all assigned equipment and its proper and timely return. If appropriate, additional time to complete tasks may be used during after school tutoring sessions or open lab time during lunchtime. Lack of in class participation may severely hamper the end-of-marking period grade.
