Admission Steps:
1. WCTS will visit your school to discuss requirements for admission and to explain what programs are offered.
2. Students are then invited to come to WCTS for a morning or afternoon to "try on" a career academy.
3. Prospective students and their parents are then invited to attend one of two brunches to tour the school and hear
presentations about the programs offered by the school. THIS BRUNCH IS BY RSVP ONLY.
4. At the brunch interested students will be given applications and told to complete the procedure and mail them directly to
Dr. Alan Naimoli, Acting Superintendent. Anyone not attending the brunches can contact the WCTS Guidance Department and asked for one
to be mailed.
5. Sometime after December 2005 a full-color brochure will be mailed to all 8th grade households in Warren County. Please look for this brochure in the
mail for detailed information about the Career Academy curriculums.
6. Applications are addressed on a first come, first served basis. Be sure to get applications in early as students are informed if
they are accepted at the interview meeting.
7. The screening process begins in mid-February and will continue until March 30, however, applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis.
8.
STUDENTS ARE SUGGESTED TO ONLY APPLY IF THEY ARE SURE TECH IS THEIR CHOICE.
