Our Cooperative Industrial Education (C.I.E.) program is designed
to work with area business and industry to expand the scope
of the student's program with live work experience. The program
facilitates project based learning by our students across
a wide range of career fields. Mr. Ray Gara serves as apprenticeship
coordinator and works with other area schools. We are proud
partners with the area businesses listed below. Representatives
from the area businesses are members of our Advisory Committee
for the career academies at WCTS.
Students meeting the criteria for cooperation education
placement attend regular academic classes for one-half day
of the school year and report to the work-based training
site for the other half of the day. Students must maintain
passing grades in all of their subjects or will be placed
on a probationary status. Students are paid for time worked
and receive a grade and credits for being enrolled in the
program.
The Cooperative Industrial Education (CIE) program is
designed to develop competent professionals in major occupational
areas offered at Warren County Technical School. The program
uses real-world experience and classroom instruction for
the development of skills in a variety of careers. Our students
are currently placed at various positions in the companies
below. Please take a moment to follow the links to their
