WARRENnet.org is the name for the consortium spearheaded by Warren County Technical School providing Internet access and E-mail to 20 educational institutions most of which are located in Warren County, New Jersey. We are also proud to provide Internet and/or web hosting solutions to an additional 11 educational, municipal governments/departments, and non-profit organizations located throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The following rules of usage for WARRENnet.org consortium members are intended to facilitate and insure the widest range of accessibility to the Internet and E-mail communications as well as web page hosting:

USER RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible Use: WARRENnet.org is not responsible for the content of any data originating from our users. You, the account holder, are exclusively responsible for the content of any and all information you or any user of your account may transmit in any format or form (including web pages hosted by WARRENnet.org).

E-mail Privacy: WARRENnet.org makes every effort to ensure private communication, it cannot guarantee that any transmission or communication is truly confidential or private. The provisions of the Electronic Communications Act of 1986 apply in all cases.

Censorship: WARRENnet.org does not, as a general rule, practice any form of censorship. (Censorship is understood to mean examination of materials prior to its public posting.) You are responsible for censoring any information you find offensive, obscene or objectionable. WARRENnet.org, however, does and will comply with all constitutional provisions of the Communications Decency Act. Software packages are available which will assist you in monitoring what your students may view. This however, is the sole responsibility of the individual consortium members.

Information Integrity: The risk as to quality, performance and accuracy of any information or software obtained through WARRENnet.org is exclusively with the user. WARRENnet.org does not warrant any and all such electronic information nor will it be held responsible for any damages caused by such data.

Third Parties: WARRENnet.org nor Warren County Technical School are responsible for merchandise or services purchased from independent sellers through our access service. This includes, but is not limited to, purchase terms, warranties, guarantees, maintenance or deliveries. WARRENnet.org and Warren County Technical School are not parties to such transactions and are not liable for any costs or damages arising out of, either directly or indirectly, the actions or inactions of sellers.

Profanity: Use of profanity and obscenity are discouraged by all WARRENnet.org consortium members in Internet access and E-Mail.
