Objectives: To evaluate student levels with computation, to evaluate knowledge of basic facts, to practice basic facts

Required Materials: Computer with Internet access, scrap paper, pencils

Anticipatory Set (Lead-In): How to navigate windows in Internet Explorer, how to enter numerical data into a website 

Step-By-Step Procedures:

1.     Ask students what they feel are their weak and strong areas.

2.     Monitor students as they work through MATH-O for addition, subtraction & multiplication – as they have difficulties, work out on paper or come up with memory tricks for multiplication facts

3.     Math Arcade – FunBrain: Set at last completed grade level and keep track of passwords

4.     Play Place Value Puzzler

   

 Closure (Reflect Anticipatory Set): Orally question with multiplication facts
