About UsWelcome to the Northern, NJ Assistive Technology for Students with Disabilities Training Project web site. This site is funded by a grant from the NJ Department of Education. Through this grant it is our goal to increase the awareness on the part of teachers, administrators, related service personnel, and parents of the benefits of assistive technology in assisting disabled students with achieving the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards while developing coordination relating to adaptive technology between home and school. The Warren County ETTC will offer newly developed and enhanced workshops on assistive technology that address the needs of students with disabilities for tachers in public and non-public schools. Workshops will include the use of technology, software and/or related applications of technology that allow students with disbilities to have full educational opportunity while addressing areas of instructional need such as critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, memory, comprehension, generalization and productivity. In addition, the Warren County ETTC will create parent outreach programs to strengthen the home/school link as it relates to assistive technology. It is our hope that parents will consider the assistive technology center a valuable resource for information. Other regional Assistive Technology Training centers:
