ACADEMIC COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
CREATIVE WRITING
GRADES 11-12-prerequisite - Eng. 9 & 10 5 Credits
This elective will give students the opportunity to explore different writing genres and to develop their creative writing skills. Poetry, fiction, playwriting, and creative non-fiction will be explored over the course of a year. In addition to creating an extensive writing portfolio, students will also learn how to shop their work around for publication.
